eclipse head units

I was wondering if anyone knows why you cant find these things online, or if you can find them, where at? because i cant find any except some old used ones.

I was in Lombards the other day and they had a couple that were pretty nice and played mp3 cd's and all but didnt have much EQ features, just treble and bass really. They seemed to work real well though and the price was around 350 the guy told me.. I figured i could find them online for cheap but i've found nada, not even any info on these even on eclipse's website.. seems strange to me, cus the guy said they werent the newest ones either and some newer and better ones were coming out soon and they are mp3 compatible also.. anyone have any info on eclipse?

Eclipse doesn't have any authorized internet

dealers. Only shops will have Eclipse products.

oic.. makes sense except that most all internet sales are not done by authorized retailers.. i guess eclipse just keeps better tabs on there stuff.

Yes, Eclipse keeps very good tabs on their decks. You can occasionally find them on ebay(they have electronic serial numbers in them so they could be easily traced back to the dealer who purchased them from Eclipse). I have the 2003 eclipse brochure on my sound domain website if you want to check it out. MP3 decks start at $199. Other decks(5 volt and up start at $289 but need another piece to play mp3s). I have used eclipse decks for many years, and they are the best sounding decks I have heard(haven't heard a nak/denon yet), but I have used pioneer, kenwood, and alpine.
