If you get an eclipse unit online and then get it installed thru an authorized dealer do you still get all the warranties and the replacement guarantee if it gets stolen?

If you buy online eclipse won't even let you register the unit with them. All you get is an angry all caps email saying how you are a bad person...not that i know from experience

Eclipse is not going to offer any warranty on a deck that isn't purchased from an authorized dealer. Eclipse decks start at $179, authorized. Why not just go to your dealer and check them out(or do you not have a dealer nearby?)

I bet there are other dealers in Houston. You can either call 800-55-eclipse and be automatically be connected to the nearest dealer or look in your yellow pages under car audio dealers and see who sells eclipse(the ads for them should list the brands).

If you buy an eclipse from an authorized dealer and install it yourself: 1 year parts and labor warranty

If you buy from an auth dealer and they install it, 3 years parts/labor and 1 year theft warranty

No. I don't think any deck manufacturers offer transferable warranties.
