Eclipse CD8455 unit.

Item(s) Description/Condition:

This unit is literally brand new. No scratches, wear marks, etc... I just bought a 03 lightning and the truck only has 20K on it. in 05 or 06 this unit was installed by the original owner. I am now the 3rd, and the owner before me had the truck for 4 years. During those 4 years, the truck sat in a garage was was ONLY driven 50 miles during the 4 years, This unit has around 3 weeks of total use on it since it was installed. If even that much. Comes with the original box and whatever harness is hooked up to it.

He has confirmed that it's the CD8445, not the CD8455.

I loved my 8455. Still have it too. Just can't part with it as it is one of the best decks I've ever had and it was a birthday gift from my wife in '05.

From the factory the 8445 did not come with the mic, the pro modes are different between the 2. I'd have to look through the brochure to see what exactly the differences are.

As for the differences between the CD8445 & CD8455...I think it has to do with the time alignment & x-over functions. Time alignment are presets, dependent on the type of car & speaker placement. The x-over is pretty basic.
