direct ipod cable? what other features does this have. im in the market for a new hu im lookin at the pioneer 710bt but am not totally set on it.

this head has an aux input...so yeah u can hook up an ipod, just not charge it

This **** manual is proving to be extremely elusive the one time I need it. I know the HU can go 2 or 3 way active, built in 11 band parametric crossover. Has aux. inputs in the rear where you can also plug in an mp3 player. Plays mp3s and wma cd's. 8v preouts if that matters at all. Once I get that **** manual I can start listing some other things.

nvm sorry i need direct ipod since thats my main source of music. I amp my speakers anyways so i can go active reguardless what headunit i have (as long asn it has 3 sets of preouts) but only 2 way.

It can hook up to an ipod, but you have to control the ipod from itself, you cant change songs through the HU. great HU, im in tampa and i'd have bought this if i just didnt buy my cd8051.
