Picked this up a few weeks ago from a member on here. Ive got $140 in this radio.

Long story short, it arrived here fine, but it doesn't read cds, they claimed that it worked when it left their house so whatever. They won't refund me and i'm done trying to **** around with that. I can't get a new cd player until I move this so its gotta go. If it doesn't sell here, i'll try on ebay when I get the chance.

DOESNT READ CDS WELL, Powers on fine, plays sound fine. I hooked it up to AUX and it sounded great. Maybe a good clean will fix it.

Condition is 6-7/10. Light scratches on the face, some of the buttons are rubbed off, mostly or slightly. I would say 4 buttons are affected, 2 only slightly and 2 are about halfway rubbed off.

These are the only pics I have, they are from the previous owner (these are pictures he took of it). I'm not taking any more pics of it unless someone is genuinely interested and HAS to have more pics. I'm done with this radio/situation so I would rather not waste any more of my time with it than I already have.

I might pick this up, and I have the cash now, but I'm still looking just a little bit more. I have a few questions though. In the opening statement, you say it doesn't read CDs well. What do you mean by this, does it skip or does it just have a hard time getting the CDs to where they can play? Do you accept MO? I've read the feedback thread you wrote to the person you bought this from, and I'm kind of iffy about buying it. Is there any way you could assure me that I'm not getting ripped off? I doubt you would try to rip someone off, especially for calling the guy out on the unit.

I can't get a CD to play. I'm good friends with some guys at a local shop, and they said that this model Eclipse tends to have cd read issues later on. I'm not sure whether it is just age or damage, I have no earthly idea.

And yes he scammed the shit out of me, and i'm pretty sure he sent it to me knowing it wasn't 100% functional like he had described it to me.

I don't know how I would rip you off, seeing as how i've already described it to you 100% as it is. Now, if I were to say it was 100% functional and sold it to you, that would be ripping you off. I just wanna get some of my money back out of this so I can get a new radio off ebay.

I can accept paypal, money order, etc. Also please don't overlook my feedback, I have around 40 positives on here, I would have more but many people dont post, and 130 on ebay and 22 on heatware allll positives.

the only issue seems to be the cd-reader.

It was just a mini to rca jack hooked up to the Auxiliary Input, and yes that worked just fine.
