I bought an Eclipse cd8053 off of (i think) diymobileaudio.com ~2 months ago. Recently it stopped consistently playing cd-r's and on the rare occasion regular cds. If you give it a few minutes it seems to usually starts playing regular cds fine again. I blew it out with and air duster right before my last trip home, and it started playing cd-r's pretty much fine too. Its odd. Don't know enough about this unit to know what's going on. The aux in still works great. Its in great cosmetic condition. I can guarantee everything works great except the cd player. It may just need a good cleaning, or the lens/reader or whatever may be starting to die. I have no idea. I have the manual, wiring harness, and nob remote. I'd like to get $150 shipped, but pm me an offer or trade and see if you can persuade me to take something else.
I have a set of edi 6500s. I got these on here about a year ago. I have the mids, tweeters, crossovers, grilles, one good flush mount, and one half broken flush mount. If you're looking at putting these in your a pillars or sail panels the broken mount will work fine. If you want to put it in a sealed kick panel you could build a chamber behind it or hold it in and seal it with some silicone and it should be fine. $115 shipped.
Also i have an extra set of both eu-650 mids and the tweeters from a 6500s set. The mids dustcaps were pushed in and i fixed them. There are creases on the dustcaps, but they don't affect the performance at all. One of the big connectors broke off of one of the mids. The littler one is still on there. You (or me if you like) could solder a lead on no problem, or use a smaller spade connector. $30 shipped each or $45 shipped for both mids and tweeters for $40 shipped on the tweeters. $75 shipped if you want both mids and tweeters. I think i've got a second set of grilles for the mids too. If i can find them i'll throw them in.
