Eclipse CD7000 face has "swirl marks"?

Can someone with a CD7000 do me a favor and hold their head unit face in direct sunlight and tell me if they see "swirl marks". I can see them in direct sunlight but they are otherwise undetectable.

My head unit face has these "swirl marks" and I haven't wiped it with anything yet. Is this normal?

Thanks.

Naw haven't been touching it with Mc Donalds fingers.......it's only like a week old and I haven't touched the face with any kind of cloth or fingers.

I guess since yours has it too then that means it is part of the plastic?

Well they are not really swirl marks, I just call them that because they are similar to swirl marks you would see on a car's paint.

They are more of a series of extremely thin scratches, which I cannot feel with my finger nail.

If u can't see it when its in the car than its fine. I think most head units natually will end up having those thin marks. mine has alot but I cant see it in the car cuse there's always some shade so it's all good. How do u like the features?

Yeah I guess it's fine, it just kind of bothers me since the unit is supposed to be new and I can see a ton of these micro-fine scratches on it in the sun.

I love the features, definitely the best sounding unit I've had so far. I love how in 3-way mode you can EQ the highs, mids, and woofer separately from eachother.
