Eclipse CD5000 CD Key How to?

I am trying to program a cd key for my cd5000.

I can't seem to do it, does it need to be the CD that came with the CD5000 or can it be any random blank cdr cd?

I am confused. I also tired the memory stick option come to find out it only supports the older style memory sticks. I have the duo stick but it doesn't support that one.

This is starting to piss me off. Someone please explain

do you not have the manual? my CD3000 just uses any random CD you have. it can't be blank. what it does is remember the CD and then you have to put in that cd any time you cut off the power to the head unit

yes, I do have the manual. I have tired numerous cds none of them work. I follow the instructions when it tells me to insert the cd I do that and it spits it back out without remembering the cd.
