i just got this headunit today,seems very complicated,ive been reading the manual alot to though,everyone around here said its top of the line.is it pretty much,got a lot of features which i still dont understand,1 thing i cant figure out is how to set the low pass filter,i can set hps but cant seem to find the low pass setting.

I run the 8445 which is basically the same unit before they changed the name.

I really DO like the deck, but a few things MAJORLY annoy me.

1. You can't turn off the sub-out.

2. Theres no pause button... WTF..

3. Changing volume with the remote... it takes FOREVER.

The only one I've gotten around is the pause button problem by just switching the source to AUX mode. Theres a way to turn the sub output off also but its annoying. The way the remote changes volume though... now that is ghey.

Other than that it sounds great and its a really nice deck!

yeah, those are annoyances I have... along with a few others.... its a fairly difficult deck to use, imo
