Eclipse Aluminums

Got my car today n been deciding on what subs to get. Want one 12 or 15 inch sub that gets loud but still hits accuratly. Someone suggested Eclipse Alum but can I get this for cheaper then 300? and how much would an amp be to power it? Any other suggested subs? (would eclipse alum hit hard? want something that would kinda compare to the volume and quality of 1 10w7)

If you're looking for something comparable to the W7 ... maybe the Stereo Integrity Magnum D2 would suit you well ... Crystal CMPx2, Adire Audio Brahma, eD A Series, etc.

Im really heasitant to buy any of these, I hear only awesome things about them, but ive never heard one.

I've heard, rockford, audiobahn, eclipse titanium kicker, JL, Dayton, Sony, n probbly some I cant think of. I am VERY hesitant to spend my money on something I have never experienced

I know how you feel.

Best thing to do is see if someone in your area has something from those companies and have a listen. eD has the eD Nation, which is a list of people by state. Should be able to find someone close, hopefully.

Friend of mine has a Dayton Titanic MKII 10 inch and it sounds really nice just not loud enuff for me, I've heard it basically the same thing as the Adire Shiva (in 10 inch form) What Im looking for is something that sounds like 1 10 inch w7, but louder, and i can sacrifice some quality. I was thinkin maybe 2 rf power hx2's 10 inch or 1 12, ive heard good things bout eclipse alum but very expensive. magnum d2 is temptin but really dont like spendin money if i can experience it.

Look up, I edited...Its not loud enuff for me lol, The Brahma sounds like it would be, just 2 expensive i think, im lookin for like 300 or cheaper.

well if you feel like taking a drive down to dc i could play a couple aluminums for ya. Not my favorite sub, but definately a great one. With 2 alums and a 1200d were hittin 151.2 on the dash with a new AC. So the DB is there, and the sq is there. Just gotta know how to work em, thats all

havoc is right, I currently run a pair of Aluminums,

 

I aam not sending them enough power, but they hit hard and have great SQ, but I am running an Overdrive to the amp, but anyway, you will be very happy with them in a small sealed install, but I am not sure on Ported dimensions yet

the car we have is ported 1.5 each tuned to 30, and it sounds really really good. Even though they are meant for small sealed, ported still gets these woofers off

Can you suggest any other subs in my budget of about 300$ for subs? Something that can get crazy loud but still maintain sq. (Dont think I can afford Eclipse Aluminums - Unless You Know where to get a 12 or 15 for 300 or less)

Not goin to be able to drive down until maybe spring break, and I not gonan wait that long. Think my local audio shop would have a demo set up or anything? Suggest any others that would be similar for about 300$..?

Well Ive looked around and I've compiled a list of subs that I think *might* fit my needs. As I said before I want something that will get crazy loud and still sound good.

Rockford Fosgate Power HX2

Magnum D2

JL Audio w6v2

Orion H2

Eclipse Aluminum

I dont kno if any of these fit into my price range of 300$ for one 12inch of 15 inch sub(Orion H2, someone said they could get me a brand new one with warranty for around 300$....and I am not sure how much Eclipse Alum, or JLw6v2 costs)

Any Comments....?
