i got one of these new for $20, looks like a decent sub, seems to be built well. wondering what this sub excells in(SQ, ect). Ive only tried it in a .6 sealed box and was really disappointed in output- it does have alot of Xmech tho so im figuring it could get loud in a ported box. 4th order would be fun to play around with. just lookin for a project cause i just got layed off and gettin bored.
anyone whos ever used this let me know whats worked for you.
They're good subs. I heard one a dude was selling on Craigslist a while back and it was in a crappy ported prefab and it got pretty loud! I don't know the exact specs but I think I'd try it at around 1.25-1.50 cubes tuned aroud 32 or so.
