Eclipse 8445 problems

Hey my deck just started doing this the other day but it will just suddenly turn off and it wont turn back on..

I checked the wiring harness and it was all ok

ground is ok and batt + is ok.. get 12.53 volts constant

i plugged the wiring harness back in and it turned on but only for about 30 seconds...

when i wiggled the harness while it was plugged into the deck sometimes it would turn on sometimes it wouldn't..

all i know is it won't stay on.

deck is about 1year-2years old ... think a warranty will cover it? it was bought through a internet dealer non-authorized...

any input?

I think you found the problem....it lies with the harness. Could be at the HU's connecting dock for the harness, the pins in the harness, or your power connections to the actual harness. Take a close look at the pins inside the harness to make sure they are in good shape and not pushed out. I would also double check the connections power connections to the car's wiring harness. If that does not solve it you will have to send it in. The problem is that it will not be covered under warranty since you bought if from an unauthorized dealer, and you will have to pick up the tab.
