I got one and an 8445, but I haven't installed either so I don't know which one I'd like more. the 8445 I'm more willing to part with because the face doesn't come off. It is active capable and has 8 volt preouts though.

ya i saw the 8454 but i read on here that you have a little more control with this unit.......aaahhhh i really dont know what the heck to buy...the 8454 ebay is being sold on here also...i offered 175 shipped and he said no so i left it at that...id still love a 8053 if possible

ya i saw that one also....only one set of the preouts work...and i think 150.00 is too much for a HU that wont do everything its supposed to...
