Eclipse 5444

Hey guys, my local Good Guys is having a clearance on Eclipse headunits 35% off. Saw the 5444 for $379.99 so with the discount it'll be $247. Should I jump on it? Is it a good price?

I paid that much for my 3434...but im a sucker. Does it come with the warrenty? If yes i would buy it, if not i'd get an 8 series (used) from ebay or the classifieds.

quite honestly, other than the display difference i dont think theres much of an out of the box difference sonically between the 5444 and 8454- both great, clean decks

I didn't ask about the warranty, but I guess if they are an authorized dealer then it should come with the warranty right? Guessing since its Good Guys it would come with the warranty.

I was thinking the same thing about the 5444 and the 8454, differences are minimal (display and 8v preouts), and personally I like the display and colors on the 5444 better.
