eBay scam or legit request?

i got a message sent to me over eBay; not through an email for this on my zx200.4

Q: Hi, Would you consider to send it over to the Netherlands? Kicker products are extremly expensive here and compared to US citizens i will bid high. In this case i would do a 'buy it now'. I pay by paypal and i'm verified. If you agree; Could you find out how much it costs to send it over by normal airmail to the Netherlands (postalcode 1066PA AMSTERDAM)? Thanks Yeelai

Does this sound legit? Sounded to me a whole lot like the Nigerian scams, but to netherlands. A couple things make me tempted. What are you guys' opinions?

sounds like a scam to me i mean come on not saying kicker isnt a good company but you cant tell me there isnt another company in the netherlands that is comparable that he could go through alot less trouble to find. just seems weird to me. just got done watching something on E about internet scams like the nigerian one you mentioned so maybe im a little paranoid but id say stay away.

Yea. There are also quite a few other zx200.4's for the same general price as mine on ebay.

forward the email to ebay and theyll tell you if its a scam or not. i bidded on some polk SR comps and lost but a few minutes after the auction i got an email from a guy saying that the winner flaked and that he would take my bid for 200 bucks..... i knew it was a lie and sent it to ebay and they told me that is a scam that is going around.

Sounds legit to me. I would tell him that you don't want to end the auction early and that if he wants it to bid on it.

he can just do a chargeback on his credit card if he uses paypal

and his feedback is somewhat sketchy.... 42 positive, but only 13 unique eBayer's

which means some eBayer's left 5 positives
