ebay payment "PENDING"???

hey i paid for an ebay item last week and just looked at the item today to see that the heading of the item payment reads "This item is pending payment through PayPal." why does it say that? other items in the past have read "this item has been paid through paypal." ive been getting impatient with the item and am now thinking that the seller may have not even got the payment. i have an email in my inbox that says THIS IS A RECEIPT FOR YOUR PAYMENT TO XXXX AND YOU HAVE PAID 33 DOLLARS AND SOMETHING CENTS.. something like that.. so whats the deal???

Look at your paypal account. If it shows the transaction, check the status of it. If it says completed, your part of the deal should be done. Stop smoking while doing this shit.

ok i checced and this is what it says:

Payment To Justin Lam -$33.29 USD Nov. 9, 2005 Unclaimed Details

Transfer From Credit Card $33.29 USD Nov. 9, 2005 Completed Details

if it says unclaimed does that mean he hasnt checced his paypal yet to even see that i've sent the money?? and if so, does that also mean the bastard hasnt even sent out the item yet? or is there a chance he sent the item out? im assuming he didnt even c the payment sent therefore he hasnt even sent it out? if so, hes stupid.

This, I'd wager, is most likely the case.After creating a PayPal account if you only keep the basic account type you cannot accept CC payments. Only PayPal account balances or existing bank account fund transfers. The upside to this is not getting charged to accept the PayPal payment. After becoming 'Business Premier' Verified (or whatever it's called - I'd have to drag my card out of my wallet and I can't be fussed atm) you can then accept CC payments...but you then get charged for all PayPal pmnts...including cash and existing fund transfers.

I'd guess that if the seller hasn't accepted payment/is unaware he's been paid already/whatever the case may be then yes it's likely your item hasn't been shipped yet.
