I took out my 800.2 and put the 400.2 in it&#039;s place using the same power/ground/rem wires. And I had a voltage meter on hand. And I&#039;ve had experience installing this particular amp. After installing it and went to reconnect my negative battery terminal and turn on my car. Turned on the HU and then suddenly i see fireworks come out of the amp i turned of my car off and disconnected the negative terminal on my battery. And I see smoke coming out of the amp too. I&#039;m like WTF!!!. It fried my RCA wires.Everything was installed properly and once I turned on my car and hu. I see fireworks and smoke.
