ebay business questions...

Anyone know how to start one of those ebay store thingys. I can figure out the ebay part, but how do I get in touch with people to get items as a dealer or at wholesale? my guess is you call up the company you wanna sell, and they'll probably direct you to their distributer, or you could find their distributer on your own.

But thats just a random thought

well, unfortunately, you cant start up a "little thing"... the reason they can get things at wholesale prices is because they buy huge amounts of the item... you cant buy 1 or 2 items at wholesale price... on top of that you need licenses which cost bucks, and a way to accept payments, paypal, what have you... you have to be very ambitious to get something like that off the ground, its not easy...

Yeah I know that it cost money...and I wasnt planning on just selling a thing here and there. In the next year or so I will be able to get all the stuff i need (including a capital investment) so I can actually get a legitimate little business going to actually make some money. Im sure there are people out there that just run their business off ebay and make a lot doing it.
