Easy Way To "Tweek" The Bass in Music?? (edit notes)

I wanna start adding some more bass to my favourite songs that lack the bass, like is there an fairly easy way to say take a song, open it up, and enhance the bass that is already there??

Love to know if there is! I think you are stuck with however it was originally mastered. There are some awesome classic rock songs that would sound sooooooo much better with harder hitting bass.

Right there with ya brotha! But maybe I will try again. Of course most of my files have been downloaded from iTunes and therefore are m4a files. Not sure if Audacity can modify those?

Guess the answer to m4a or m4p files is "NO".

there is also the bass knob on your headunit. just in case you overlooked that

there is something called a bass processor (ie epicenter) that will help get the added effect you are looking for.

get an epicenter. other things u can do is add test tones to it with sony cd architect or use goldwave to slow or speed up songs to a certain freq that you peak at
