Earthquake DBXi 10 real power handling

Is there a resident Earthquake product user here? I'm trying to figure out how much this woofer(I have two Earthquake DBXi 10D's) can really handle in real word terms. I heard certain model subs from Earthquake can handle a lil/more over their rated RMS output, but can not find the enough info on this model. I searched here then contatcted Earthquake Sounds and they state I can power them of of their 1000w RMS amp but did not tell me how much output they can handle. Right now I have them powered off a Cadence ZRS 8000D mono amp rated at 2250RMS @1 ohm from which ohm they are seeing in a common chamber slotted box pre-fabed close to specs. I used a multimeter to set the amp at 1600w @1 ohm and they seem to take it like a champ with no distortion and xcellent bass repoduction. They sound unbelievably good with the power it is recievng but in the same token I do not want to damage them. I am a truck driver(sleep durin the day work at night) so jus post your comments/suggestions and I will check on them. Thanks.
