There is quite a different between having racist thoughts/tendancies than thinking one group is inherently superior to another.

For instance, I do not go to the black side of town unless accompanied by black people out of fear, not because I think I am better than them.

I acknowledge this fact and I still call it by the color. Red is my favorite.

I don't think its bad, but I do feel out of place when I go to the family reunion and I am one of the few white people there. Always the only white male. I can't help it and I accept that I am racist.
