i intern at my dads economics firm. im downloading options backdating stories at the moment

What kind of firm? I have been thinking of getting my PhD in Econ. If he is in need of any part time work I can do in the evenings/afternoons, I can send my resume over.

its called Forensic Economics, in pittsford NY

and yeah, you guessed right, theyre forensic economists. like i wanna be. the ugy makes the least here makes about 175/hr so you can see one incentive for it. plus its really interesting work

hm not really. theres alot of things you need to do here, like for example, im downloading stories off our bloomberg terminal. and the other guys here are pretty much all experts and everyone has atleast their masters.

we are expanding though in the next year or so, we doubled our office size about 2 months ago. the one thing is, you need to take a course with one of the "bosses" (not really boss, hes an economics expert) he teaches at Simon Business School at University of Rochester, and you need to take his course to be invited to work here. thats the only requirement reallly, that and being compatable and having a brain like a sponge

my job pretty sweet but i would rather be outside, i can usually sneak in a good 30 min nap if i go out the night before too hahaha

Those terminals are pretty expensive. I have only heard and read about them. Are you allowed to take a picture of it?

I am always trying to network and gain more skills and experience. I am currently a financial anaylst for the DoD. It's pretty repitive work. I am looking to expand my skills and abilities, but stay in TN. I like it here, but most of the jobs are manual labor or BS data entry. There are probably firms like yours here, I just don't know about them.
