Dynamic Power

i thought it was a little different then max. i thought it was like the potential of an amp. like on PG's website the dynamic power rating is 1400 watts rms, and all the tantrums i've seen have benched over 1400 watts but they are rated at 1200 watts rms. i also noticed the same thing on directed amps. in the end though, pay attention to rms power only.

well it was on a directed amp that i saw it the 1500d

That makes sense. I have a MTX amp that says:

150x1 Bridged @ 4 ohm

280 Dynamic power bridged @ 4 ohm

RMS rating are at 12.5 dc input.

So i guess it would be more around 280 at 14.4volts?

There is still no standard supply voltage for advertised ratings... is there?

What does the CEA'06 compliance call for... ?
