clarion. better sq. i went from a premier 860 to a DXZ745 and don't regret it at all.

yeah Clarion has better SQ over Pioneer

i wouldn't go that far. i've had two eclipse decks and the clarion is right up there with them.

I like those Clarions. Just FYI Eclipse released an ipod adapter, if eclipse is an option....dunno how good it works tho

The Clarion has a set of Aux RCA input's on the HU that you can use for you iPod. I haven't seen an iPod add-on that was specific to the HU, but then again, I haven't had the need to look for one either. ;-)

The clarion uses a CeNet interface #EA 1251B, and yes the 945 and 955, both accept it. I just replaced my clarion DRX9375R/DPH9300 w/the Eclipse CD8455. Almost thought about getting the 955 but the 8455 has the E-iSERV and 8v output that my PG ZPA0.3 needs. Still feel like I should've gotten the 955.

get the 955 through cardomain if you want to and price match it, paid like $530 when it retails like 900$

the 955 is so f-ucking sick with the touch screen and tight *** display. It also hooks up to the ipod connector that they sell. I believe you can get it for about 360 off etronics.
