I have a CVR12 400 RMS, If I put duck tape around my sub would it make it at least 600 RMS?

or if I duck tape my amp will I get more RMS?

900 at least.

Superglue in the pole vent is better but duct tape is cheaper.

FYI if you replace your tinsel leads with xmas tree tinsel they will be lighter and more aerodynamic thus allowing the spider and cone to move more efficiently!

It can........ I gained 9 tenths at World Finals this past year with duct tape alone and it wasn't because the box leaked either.

well, when you actually compete and have to switch out subs, make adjustments to enclosure, the mounting flange will leak from time to time. shit happens when you are out in the field away from your home garage

The way it helps is usualy around the subs like pictured above...

Subwoofers dont create a perfect seal with the box, and ducttaping there ususally stops a few leaks. Other than that, duct taping edges helps if you have a few small leaks in the box.

Also seen duct taped ports (slot) create a smother surface.
