I have a dsc.2000.1 that started acting up. it would play here and there . I have found that it works great with slave input but not rca input. The outer jacket fell off one of the rcas, but i soldered rcas onto the inside of the jack and it still doesnt work perfect, its low volume then really loud and only beats doenst play a constant note.
For some reason my eclipse still puts out a pretty full range signal so i threw a high db/octave crossover on in line with the rca, and put that into the slave input and it works normally.
So basically if you have a dsc2k and want to get another to strap this would be perfect.
Or i can send it to an amp repair center for the rca fix.
