Downloading movies on kazaa?

I have kazaa and i downloaded part of a movie and previewed it, but i only have sound. I have treid that for like 3 different movies but there is no picture, anybody know how to make the picture show up?, Do i have to download something that supports dvd-divx format?

It may be a good idea to download a divx player just in case. But sometimes people put movies on kazaa and they are just the sound, i've gotten a few myself. But yeah, i would get a divx player because sometimes they tell you that you need it to watch the movie.

look for a DIVX Decoder and for some AVI Decoders/ Players

I have. I've tried gdivx player from download.com and i got all sound from all 3 movies i was trying to download. I downloaded another one but it did te same thing, do u know of any ones that work the best?

dont bother with the players, just install the codec....http://divx-digest.com/ the newest ones are always there, if it still only has audio...then it is probably just audio, how big is the file, and how long does it play? if its pretty small and plays a while, it probably has to video with it. remember a lot of content on kazaa is bogus.

the file is like 715,000kb, i had about 60,000 dl already and i played some of it and it said about 25mins was downloaded so i played it and it was all audio, i dunno if it was a fake but it said there were 22 users that had the same file

is it an avi or mpeg? avi's generallly wont play right untill the whole thing is there (the "table of contence" or end of the file) containes information to play the movie, kazz tried to make them play before they were done, but they done always work right.

its an avi, but i downloaded a thing off of download.com that lets u preview what ur downloading and it worked for one of my movies but that wasnt an avi, So u think i should dl the whole thing and see if it works then? If it doesnt do u know of any free divx players that i could dl?

yeah pull the whole thing down....like i said before, you dont need a player, just need the codec, get it from divx-digest.com.....thats all you need and windows media player will play it. the preview thing your talking about is what i was saying kazza tried to build in, but it doesn't always work.

60,000 bytes aint 25 mins of play. only if it's just audio. if that's audio n video it's gonna be really shitty
