well, i just wasted two hours of my life.

yea, so when somone changes a game into a movie, how is it, that the ENTIRE PREMISE of the game is changed?

how does a scientific archeologic research project [with some bio-engineering testing] gone-wrong on an "unnamed planet" - bear ANY RESEMBLANCE to - an ex-special-ops soldier, sent to mars due to disobeying orders, who gets caught up in a scientific research project about inter-diomensional travel-gone-wrong, that opens a portal to "hell" and killing everyone but you - and tons of robot demons come out and play around.

i mean, sure, its kinda lonely with noone else to talk to - and that would be kind of a boring movie, so you can change that a bit, add people and that kinda crap. but where are the f*cking robot spiders with machieneguns hanging from their nuts, and flaming skullheads, and giant goat-deamons with rocket launchers on their arms. hell! the fu*king imps didnt even shoot f*cking fireballs from their hands.

ill give them this, they did have the demon guy at the end of the doom3 demo thing, they did have imps (however they were slow and had no fireballs), and thank god they added the big f*cking gun, and the chainsaw....

but holy f*cking crap. where was the rest of "doom"?

that d*mn movie had almost NOTHING to do with the game. not even slight inuendos from the videogames!

i have to agree 100%, i am a hardcore gammer and a more old school one, when i heard doom movie was coming out i was thrilled, i could imagine the hell knights coming out shotting fire balls, and the imps , and all the **** monsters , but when i saw the movie i was like what the hell? WERE IS THE "HELL" , i tought the movie was really dumb and how they based it off some **** reserach and DNA , they might as well have named it resident evil 3 the movie. Anyways so far NONE of the video game movies ive seen have done the GAMES justice, resident evil should have been a CLASSIC movie, i mean come on the **** movie was written for them with like 5 games and they still couldt get it right, anyways i hope they can do a twisted metal movie, i can imagine sweettooth riding around in a neighborhood and selling ice cream to a kid and KILLING HIM!

i was just so upset.

the movie was alright if i was called "C-34" or maybe somthing that revolved around the plot. but to slap on "doom" and put some similarities to the game in it, and to top it off, being an "ok" movie to begin with, just makes it completly degrading and worthless.

i realized all this once the movie ended, and i said "WTF?" where is doom?? and then i got pretty aggrivated -_-
