It is a pretty sweet game. Multiplayer is kick *** too. Plus there's a bunch of single player mods and multiplayer coop mods that are fun as hell.

it was fun for a while, but i like a good developing plot, so i enjoyed it for about as long as i enjoyed counterstrike. maybe 2 weeks

lol. well, there's a really good mod for it called "In Hell"

i just downloaded it yesterday and its pretty fun. its single player.

You play as the only single fighting force against an infinite number of demons on Mars... I mean, what exactly were you looking for?

i just bought it for xbox, its kinda boring

i have it for computer and xbox. The multiplayer is more intense for the computer, and is way better, cuz u can rocket jump quickly, and there are some really good players on it. Plus u can download new maps for multiplayer, and extra mods such as the Last Man Standing Mod, and the In Hell Mod, which are really good. The LMS mod also includes the original Doom with Doom 3 graphics.

The xbox missions are also shorter than if your playing the Computer version. Certain things are left out. Graphics are also better on the computer version.

I wont lie, after awhile the mars base got kind of old, but once u get to the Hell maps and the Ancient Ruins, it gets a lot better. It'll scare the shit out of you if your playin in the dark with headphones on late at night.

yeahh, i mean, its not terrible, its just, the same corridors with the same creep factor, i enjoyed it, but i found games i liked more. it is alot better on PC, i have both, actually, not to thread jack, but if anyone wants to try the xbox version, ive got the collectors edition metal case DOOM3 ill sell for around 40$

btw, have u downloaded the In_hell mod for doom 3 yet? or LMS 3.5? if u want we could do coop together or something.

duke nukem is a tight game (from what ive played when i was in elementary school at a friends house)

doom 3 is definitely worth the buy. It's not as fast paced as duke nukem. If you play it in the dark late at night, it will get to u. The multiplayer for Doom 3 is very fast paced, however, and skills such as strafing are needed.
