Message: <blockquote data-quote="saltyjesus" data-source="post: 101065" data-attributes="member: 544753">thats not true at all.  My friend had a best buy system and then got a new system for christmas, so we decided  to blow his sonys and man did they go down quick.  We hooked up his 300 rms subs to a jbl 1200 and watched them go down in a blaze of glory...the point is sony sucks at car audio.  their head units lack features, while looking pretty cool.  Their speakers are just awful and their subs are horrible.  some of their amps are ok though.in the world of car audio where for every component you buy you have a choice between hundreds of products why would you choose sony?  Ill give you their not as bad as some people make them out to be, but they are definately worse than what a lot of people make them out to be.</blockquote>
