Do you think that I could power a JbL 12" P series subwoofer w/ 600w RMS?

So, I'm thinking that I might like to go with a single 12" sub, and the JbL P series seem a pretty good fit. They're the ones that look kinda like the gti's but with a more shallow build. So the RMS is 400, but I'm thinking that it has to be really underrated.. the ficking jbl gti 12" miki is rated at something like 700watts, and I know you could run it at 1000w, so I'm thinking that the jbl p1022, (i'm not sure that's the right number but it's p something) could be run at 600watts with no problems... let me know what you think. Is there another sub out there with good sq and spl in the 600w range 4 ohm for under say $300? Thanks gents.

i was looking at these too... but couldnt find any good reviews of them... so if you do get them.. post your thoughts on them..

also their effiency is like 94 also ... if i remember correctly
