My side has been killing me pretty bad for a few days now. I am going to the doctor on Monday.

Self diagnosis, which means jack shit, I would say its my appendix. What the procedure and were you in pain before, during, and after surgery?

I had kidney stones once. THAT was painful. This one hurts and I feel a throbbing sensation, but its bearable unlike the stones.

I dont know enough about the gallbladder to associate the pain.

Mine ruptured when I was 5 and I almost died.I was puking every hour and felt like I was gonna die!Ended up in the hospital for 12 days with a tube sticking out of my stomach that they pulle dout little by little each day.

I got to meet some hot nurses though!!!!

My friend had his appendix removed 3 day ago. I went yesterday and he said he was in a little pain after the procedure but then kicked us out of the room because we were making him laugh too much and that made it hurt more. Lie down on your back and have someone lift your right leg up then slap the bottom of your heel. If you feel a sharp pain in your gut it's your appendix.

Doctors said the appendix would hurt in the side. If your appendix burst, I'm sure you would be rolling around in agony. My gallbladder attacks were so bad I had to go to the hospital, and the dipshits told me it was indigestion. Finally on the fourth time when I had jaundice, they decided to remove my gallbladder.

If you are in pain and think it is your appendix, don't wait for Monday man. Get checked out. Just go to urgent care.

Better to play it safe, because it can be very serious.

i had mine out.

My case was abnormal as it took them about a month and a half to figure out what was wrong, and the pain was atypical of a bad appendix.

It hurt on my side, but more toward my back. It wasn't a sharp pain, but a dull pain that got worse the longer i stayed in one position. I couldn't sit for over a half an hour before it got too bad and i had to get up or lay down.

They told me it was all sorts of things, strained muscle, bruised rib, sciatic nerve, kidney problem, one doctor even said it might be my prostate, but i refused the check for that... thank god.. i would have been pissed to get fingered for no reason.. they really didn't know what it was until it burst.

Then it came out.

It sucked.

and i dont know why it took so long to figure out.. i saw countless doctors, internists, had 2 CT scans, and they all just pretty much told me something else and then sent me home with percocet.

yeah thats what the dumb a$$ doctor tried to tell me when I went in for my pains...I finally had to have mine removed after it almost killed me...

You'll know if they burst!If the pain presists or gets worse go sooner, if it comes and goes maybe its not your appendix but get it checked out fo sho.

I had mine out a few years ago. I can remember waking up and being like "F*ck I can't move". It hurt to even roll over. It was the worst pain I had felt, ever, period. My appendix hadn't ruptured just yet.

Got to the hospital and everything and I swear to god I had 20 doctors come up and poke me and ask how much does that hurt on a scale of 1-10. I seriously answered a 20 and they took me into surgery. The pain really isn't so bad after they get it out of you.

The doctors said that if I would have waited another few hours it would have ruptured and could have killed me.

Mine DID rupture and I had gang-green all through out my stomach.They shoved tubes down into my stomach through my nose while I was awake.And everyday they had to pull a tube out of my stomach that felt like they where riping my intestines out inch by inch.WORST pain I have ever felt.
