DO you get good FM reception on your HU?

the reception on my pioneer was a lot better than my current alpine. i dont really care for radio, so i never really bothered, but my lil sis loves the radio, and shes been in my car a lot lately, so i let her listen to radio instead of cd, and i've noticed a difference in reception.

really i have a pionner now and my reception isnt anything to write home about!!! a lot better on my kenwood!!

Had a clarion, reception was very good. Now hav the eclipse, not as strong as the clarion but still decent.

I have a JVC KD-AVX2 and the reception is just as good, if not better, than my stock H/U

Right now i am using a backup deck, Sony MD deck. reception sucks beyond anything I have had. best I have had is the Pioneer. I do live 30 miles from town. But all I have had is Nakamichi CD400, Eclipse 8454 , Clarion DRZ9255 and the Pioneer 860. Hope this week the 880 will be installed.

all of my h/u's reception sucks compared to stock. sat is the way to go. the antenna in my truck was forgot about during the install. just been lazy and havent pulled it out. i didnt even listen to the radio even when it was connected.
