Not really, I believe that if a civilization was advanced enough to travel here they would have already kicked our collective ***.
I do enjoy the shows on the universe though -- the science is too much for me to wrap my mind around. When they start discussing the physics behind what they know and their theories it sounds like fantasy.

Why do you automatically assume they would be hostile? Because we would be?

A decent math background can help with most of the phsyics...It isn't difficult ,persay, it is a different type of thinking. Just like economics, law, and a variety of other subjects.

I think the government has some rediculous shit that they are hiding.
