I am looking to do a nice front stage: deaden the door, foam, baffles, etc... I am just wondering if anyone has used these and if they help at all

They work, but they should be trimmed so they dont impeded the sound.

Most people trim them like this, with the top of the mid covered so the water cant directly hit the speaker.

Do they increase the sound quality a little? or just help protect the speaker.

They are mainly to keep water off the mids as far as I know.

I cant recall ever seeing someone say it sounded better using them.

they actually sound like crap!!!

i use the hard metra ones and trim like pix above just to prevent water from being directly put on them when windown put down...

Thanks for asking this question. I was wondering what I was going to do about the water.. especially since I live in WA lol.
