Message: <blockquote data-quote="SicAudio" data-source="post: 6443581" data-attributes="member: 609136">dude I sell db alts all the time and have never had 1 test less than 10% of what it says,  his alt should do 100-110 at idle and 200++ at 2000 rpm.  if it is the alt contact DB and have them warranty it.my brothers 8 sub minivan has 2 DB's 220 amp alts and 4 bt80 batteries with 11 amps and never drops below 12 volts at idle.if it is dropping at idle you have a wire issue or the alt has an issue that is warranty fixable.also if you have a battery issue it can cause the same issue.</blockquote>
