how long did u have to take the drug test? did u have to take it the same day you got the slip? and what kind of company was it?
EDIT: all i'll be doing is putting canoes in the water, if that helps.

Once they hired me I was tested right then. It is New Hanover Regional Hospital so they were able to do their testing right then. I would say for a job like you are describing there is a very slim chance at being tested.

a simple search would conclude that the ca.com members dont give a **** about people who have to ask if a certain place of employment drug tests.

the smart thing would be just to assume that every place that will give you a paycheck for 'x' amount of work will drug test.

You will be fine just don't smoke till your drug test if you even have one.My referance was if you smoke everyday like me.

i know its not hard to smoke. i dont even like smoking pot that much. i'm more into heroin, plus its out of your system in 1-3 days.

even if they do it's not always grounds to refuse employment.

some places only drug test to see how much you smoke, not if you do smoke.

when i worked for GM i had to get tested, and they called me after i had just smoked for the first time in about a year. after i got hired i had told my boss that i was worried about failing and he told me that even if it would've come back positive(he didn't know the results, just that i was ok to hire) there probably wasn't enough for GM to think it was a problem. He said when they test they look for people with really high levels, not just the occasional smoker.

so don't get all worried about it.
