im waiting for these bad boys to come in-i'll tell you right now they sound ten times better than W7's. i drove all the way to anderson sc to hear them and they blew my mind. i heard them in a 2004 silverado, (sealed-under rear seat) i'll never use another sub. they run at 600 rms but can handle 1200. best sq sub made period!!!! no comparison between the two.

1. JL W7 12"= TUBBY LOW END SOUND, WARM, HESITATION, NO SNAP, CAN GO MEGA LOW- GOOD CLEAN SPL- SEXY

2.DLS IRIDIUM 12"= QUICK-RESPONSIVE, DEEP, LOW MIDS, GOOD TONE, CAN GET LOUD- GOOD LOOKING

i just dont see how people can call the W7 a sq sub- mabey to the spl ear they never heard anything that clean. i go with sounds best to me- hell i wanted the W7's, i listened to them in every kind of install-truck,van,cadalac,sound room, shows. their just not tight enough for sq comp.

You do understand that its not JUST the driver. Anyone can make any sub sound like butt and the talented can make any sub sound good. Its all in the install.......

im sorry guy but sometimes install can improve certain situations,but when it come to tightness of the woofer and motor speed you cant make a sub do something that it cant. kind like me asking you to fly- you aint got no wings

how do i not know what im talking about my brother owns one of the best car audio fab shops in atl. their authorised dealers for jl and they will tell you the same thing. you will never see a car win a world sq championship running W7's-period!!!
