DirecTV in Canada?

i just ordered directv today.

Dish network tried to fuk me over, so i made the switch.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif dishnetwork sucks *** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif they said that they knew there was a problem with the receiver model i have, but they would not replace it with a model without the problem unless i paid them $120.

Why would i do that when i can switch to dtv and get free equipment (and a better DVR) and awesome promotional rate for a year?

or better yet, you can be like me and get everything free since my woman works for them. 90.00/mo programing plus all the sports channels, and the new hd/dvr black w/ the blue lights, its a sexy b!tch. got over 1200 buxworth of free equipment plus professional install.

a friend of mine ordered a package deal there in canada its not DirecTV its called coolsat it has all the chanels ppvs everything it cost him about 400 for everything came with satalite box and some other stuff it was all legit

:p Coolsat is a "FTA" receiver, he gets E* or Bev, he paid too much for the equipment. You can get a Pansat 2700a for 130 and a used dish for 40, 170 and you have free tv.

The box itself is legal i believe, until it is flashed with the program, then i'm not too sure how legal it is. There aren't too many true FTA channels, but geek is right, he's prolly getting BEV in canada and most that use it in the states get basically all DISH channels with those types of receivers.

whats funny is dish using directv satellites to broadcast their programing. hell, if u look far enough up in the chain of command, both companies are owned by the same company

back in the day directv could have bought out echostar(owner of dish) but didnt so they wouldnt run into the problem of having a monopoly. i found that kind of interesting considering at the top they are both owned by the same peoples

nice.

I worked in sales wholesaling FTA and Dishnetwork and DirecTV hardware in canada.

I worked for *the* man that ran the industry in canada.

The markup is insane.. people dont want to deal with having to load software an shit on their receivers..

our customers would buy equipment from us for lets say $200 wholesale and then re-sell it for close to $1000

we had 20 yearold guys driving lambos from selling our stuff..

http://www.al7bar.tk for info

and http://www.ftacentral.com for files (I could get murdered for this but i dont give a ****)
