Turned gain down to nearly half of what it was. No loss of power now, can turn my HU all the way up to its max volume and still no distortion. WELL, now that Im considering doing the big 3, and know the wattage of my JL Speaker, I'm scared to even turn my stereo on now that I realized I've been trusting a 300-Watt JL 12W0-4 to keep up with a 12 inch 1400 Watt Boss sub. I tried running just the one speaker and I can't hang. The Difference between one subwoofer and two seems detrimental to me. If it comes to a choice between hoping the JL won't blow and choosing to run the boss by itself, I'll let the JL Blow before I even talk about putting the Boss back in it's own box. As well as, at the same time I'm curious as to why the JL hasn't blown -YET-, I'm more than positive I've overpowered the JL speaker, a 1400 watt amp in bridged mode powering a 1400 watt speaker and my JL 300 watt for about three weeks. I just started noticing the voltage drop problem only a week and a half ago. I know eCrack said: "Use one type of speaker" but, Why when these speakers have been working for almost a month would I deviate from using a speaker that I know works?
