difference, l5 and L7

besides, wattage anything like quality wise different or are they same build....im wondering cause im currently considering getting some.....dont knwo which type how many or what not but im just waiting....so let me know, ill have a brutus hifonics amp.bx1500d...let me knwo what you think...

people always say "use the search button". but when you do, if you still need a question answered you get flamed for bringing up an old thread.........

so your choices are... bring up an old thread and get flamed, or start a new thread and get flamed...... hmm, i'd start a new thread too. it would just be easier to answer the question, the damage is done.

the L5's use a stamped steel frame and the L7's use cast alluminum. cast alluminum is better. stamped steel doesnt directly affect the subwoofers performance, except it takes away from the magnets strength. it theoretically could cause long term reliability problems, but nothing that you would notice, and it will blow up long before that anyway. the L7's also obviously have a larger coil.
