difference in Hz...

matters what your box would be tuned at. if you have a sealed box hitting 30hz then a ported box tuned to 30 hz, the tuned box's peak would be 30hz in which case should be the loudest the sub would get. should be loud AND low compared to the sealed box where it would just be nice and shake with a decent ammount of sound.
