just an update, all my parts have come. I plan to start the install tomorrow. I just need to pick up a fuse, a bunch of wiring & a radio antenna adapter and i should be ready to install. I plan on running a 2 way active crossover setup with my CA18's in the door and tweeters either next to them in the door or in small kick pods(no room for full sized kicks). My crossover is the xm6 and my amp is the hifonics tx8805. Any install suggestions before I begin? How important is sound deadening in the door and aiming the speakers? I'm hoping the parts I got were good... I heard eclipse head units were good and the speakers/crossover were suggested by squeak... the amp just seemed like a good deal for the money. one last question...how loud will this setup be? My friend is running coaxials off of his 13wX4 RMS head unit, and his gets pretty friggen loud. His is the loudest i've heard though, so I really have no reference for how loud this 55x4 RMS is gonna be. Will it hopefully get louder than I ever want to hear it? I'm also worried about my bass because he has a 15" RE XXX in a 33hz ported box(it was so big we had to assemble it IN the trunk of his civic hahaha), so I can't really use his as a reference. will the bass response at least be a bit better than stock? I know it won't be anywhere near his
