I needed to order yesterday to get by xmas so I already ordered. I found a copy of eclipse's old brochure on the net(they don't have it on their site), and realized the 5444 had more features that suited me like a 13 band eq and 24 bit dac, so I got that instead. Seems like I made the right choice because as smgreen said it was a higher end model when it came out.
