Did I do the correct math?

I'm planning on buying 2 12" RE XXX's and am looking to pair it with the about 2000 watts each. From what I've been reading, they will be running at 2 Ohms. At first I was looking at the Memphis 4k, which only pushes 2k watts @ 2 Ohms, and from what I hear requires a LOT of power going to it. I am now looking to strap two Audioque AQ2200's, which if my math is correct, will be pushing about 4400 watts @ 2 Ohms, which is quite a bit cheaper than the Memphis. Is my math correct, and this setup will work?
