dickies pants and how they come up with the sizes

this may be the completely wrong forum to ask this in as a whole, but figured I would try. Does anyone ever have a problem with dickies pants being almost like 8 sizes to small? How exactly do they measure them? I am a bigger dude so I can't just grab a 40-42 off the shelf and buy them....they don't fit. ever. but when i grab a 40-42 of say, arizona or lrg for example....they are perfect.

When I say they don't fit, I mean they DONT FIT. like...not even close to buttoning up at all. not even worth sliding up to try on. how exactly are they measured? I know the normal dickies pants are a really straight cut, but it is rediculous how small they are compared to other companies.

Yeah, I wear a 34... I got a 34 and it like won't even think about buttoning. A 36 is a tiiight fit. A 38 is giant on me.

I had the same problem, I wear 33-34 usually...

I tried them on... WAY too small... no way to button them EVAR.

It really blows cuz i dont want to order any online and they not fit. only for me to spend money on returning them.......to buy another pair.

Ya dickies pants are wierd. like the Work pants are different sizes then the regular pants even tho its the same number. Or there is like the double layered on the knee pants (the ones i wear) that are also different sizes. Im lucky there's a dickies outlet 15 minutes from my house so i could try shit on. lol

well the factory is actually not far from me.......but thats a factory haha. i doubt i could just go there a test fit some haha. this sucks. it's like the only pants i would wear because everything else is either preppy shit that looks god awful, or so baggy they look like an elephant shit in your pants.

Yeah, i've noticed this too...kinda sucks because they are such nice for working in but Im rarely ever able to find a pair that fits me
