diamond m6 vs. diamond d6

got a really great deal on a diamond sub and pulled the trigger. found out it was actually a oldschool m6. how does it compare to the current d6 subs. did i make a mistake? should i go sealed or ported as they were design for a sealed box. any other info would be appreciated. thanks

same sound quality,slightly shallower.....will handle 900w with ease
