Diamond D6 Port Help

I will be building a 1.4cf box (what will fit my trunk well). Now after reading and reading specs, I was wondering what you guys did for the size of the ports. On diamond spec sheet it says, 4x20.5. Im guessing thats circular port? Im doing a rectangle port like how most vented boxes are.

Any help? This is my frist ported box, yes I searched and read a bunch of sticky's and links.

Check out the tutorial section on JL audio's site about making slot ports.

if you are somewhat good at math you should be able to figure it all out yourself

4x20.5 seems like it would be round.

A 4 inch round port is roughly 12 inches of port area. I would build a slot port that was more like 20 inches 2X10 for example.

Get Exact! You the port needs to be 1inch by 12.5 inches, and 21 inches long. This is for the D612 correct? It could also be say, 2 x 6.25 inches, but it must be 21 inches long. The volume of the box needs to be 1.25 cubic feet, and that is after you subtract woofer displacement (.1 cubic feet for that D612) and port displacement (should be about .18-.19 cubic feet depending on what dimensions you use....
