Message: <blockquote data-quote="MrBill2U" data-source="post: 438771" data-attributes="member: 553080">I don't care about price.  I care about sound.  I rechecked my X-Overs and they are set exactly where they where before.  I used a tone generator on the wires before I hooked them up to ensure that my tweets were on the right set of wires and I ran the tweets at -2db as they are soft domes and I didn't want to overpower them.  These tweets just keep blowing.  I have even diconnected my 5.25 to have a listen and make sure that no midbass was getting into the tweets.  It was fine.  They just keep popping.  I am so tired of taking my doors off at this point and I just want to be able to listen!!I have already bought the add on 6.5 midbass kit for these, but I don't think I am going to put them in if I have to keep replacing tweets every week  :/</blockquote>
