Diamond audio 10" D6...JL Audio 500/1 enough power?

I've currently got a jl audio 500/1 and a 10" ssa audio dcon 10". I need a new sub however since i broke the surround and cone on my dcon with heavy crap in my trunk.

I found a diamond audio d6 locally with a slightly dented aluminum cone which he says doesn't affect the sub. Is a jl audio 500/1 enough power for a sealed enclosure?

should be fine....D6s can take more though
